Why Indiana Behavior Analysis Academy?

IBAA is locally owned and operated by Lisa Steward, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with 15+ years’ experience as a BCBA. Lisa guides the mission, vision, values, and ethics of IBAA. Her primary motivation for developing this organization was to offer families a program that puts children and families first while elevating the quality of services available to many autistic individuals.

IBAA highly values individualized quality care that meets the unique needs of each of our patients and families. Our clinical leaders have at least 10 years of experience in the field and have demonstrated excellent clinical skills before taking on a leadership role.

Parents appreciate that we support children of varied ages and levels of need through separate programs for early learners, children with increased behavioral need, and programs specific to adolescents.

At our Early Intervention and Intermediate Learning Centers, learners receive one-on-one support from their primary therapist as they participate in pre-planned group activities during the therapy day. At IBAA and Options Charter School, the level of support is determined by the individual’s needs within the group therapy environment. Our structured group learning programs are essential to learners transitioning into a group learning environment.

Our Mission

At Indiana Behavior Analysis Academy (IBAA), we assist autistic children as they obtain the skills needed to successfully navigate their lives and grow to become more independent, happy young adults. Through the implementation of the principles of applied behavior analysis, we systematically introduce skill acquisition programs and behavior interventions that best prepare children for transitions into their schools and community based activities. We recognize the importance of working closely with families, educators, medical professionals, and community organizations as we structure each child’s program to address their individual needs.
